Gasthaus Schnitzbauer in Regen

So the people who post bad have to say something about the furnishings and the toilets. I'm not from the area. And see the inn as it used to be, so it's not modern, so those who want luxury have to go somewhere else. It's just orig as the Bavarian says. The food was good and very plentiful. Had to have it packed because the portion was so large. Very friendly service. Whenever I come by motorcycle again and again. Prices very cheap.

Decent German food.

Good and tasty Bavarian cuisine. Pork roast and Bavarian sausages were very tasty. The staff is older and a bit "spoiled" which is very cute. In the rustic restaurant, which is very cozy, time seems to stand in style and you can spend the evening there in peace.

The food was delicious, but the portion was not enough for my friend, who is usually always full in the restaurant. Unfortunately, the card does not match the online card either and is considerably smaller.

Quick and good food for in between. Selection limited, no appetizer and dessert, no card payment possible. However, inexpensive and good home cooking.

Quaint inn, beautiful terrace. Schnitzel builder lives up to the schnitzel. Goods are very peaceful. It is not a gourmet temple.

1 wrong food get ok you did not have to pay! But zero organization! Toilet disaster!

In spite of a rich menu, we were only offered schnitzel with champions or cordon bleu. When the food arrived, I almost wanted to let it go back. Schnitzel was as hard as shoe soles, fries were probably 2x in the deep fryer, I do not want to talk about mushrooms. But the highlight was, as locals came to eat, there was suddenly breaded Schnitzel with very nice fries and salad, which was not offered to us and they also served Lendchen with fried onions. For our strange lunch, with once Coke and Apfelschorle we paid then 25,40 €. I think it's a great pity that in a holiday region a guest is offered something like this. Of course, I will warn everyone in my very large circle of acquaintances of this locality.
